by | Mar 12, 2024

Today Bringing Back A Smile went to meet a beautiful family who we surprised with a break away to our Charity Caravan this is what Alex Oliver had to say after we called to see him and his family.

Hi Kevin
Thanks for coming out to see us with Michelle and thanks for the caravan this weekend greatly appreciated

Kara-mai was born in 2009 diagnosed with Down Syndrome, at 3 months she had heart surgery to repair a CAVSD. She got out of hospital the day before Christmas Eve.

She was diagnosed with autism a few years later. She is non verbal. Kara then had constructive surgery on her hip and pelvis in 2018.

Despite all her struggles Kara-mai gets the best out of life, constantly on the go and enjoys time with her family.
She is really looking forward to going away this weekend with her mam, dad and 1 year old sister Laya.
She enjoys rides, swimming and going to the beach so it will be great fun for her and her family.

Alex puts all his time and effort in at Brandon Boxing, Club with a lot of youngsters and other team members to help make a difference with children and adults in our community you sir are a star amongst all your boxers no doubt about that.
