Stephen Hall and his partner Heidi Harrison who are the organisers of one of the north easts biggest truck show festival held at Barnard Castle kindly invited the charity to their event this year to help raise funds for their caravan appeal.The charity set up their well renowned Tombola Stall along with their fantastic cake selection which sold out in one day.Michelle Hutchinson along with Laura Gale who volunteer for the charity worked hard over the Bank Holiday Weekend in August to raise an amazing £1091.00.The total was also met by a fantastic donation of £500.00 by the event organisers taking the total to £1,591.00 of which £1,000.00 will be going to our caravan appeal with the remainder going towards helping adults and children in our communities.The show was a spectacular event in which seen over 400 trucks make the journey north to Barnard Castle. The event has grown into one if not the biggest truck shows around the country and its because of the sheer determination of organisers to make this show what it is today.Michelle Hutchinson from the charity met up with the organisers at Newton/Aycliffe to be presented with their £500.00 Donation from Stephen Hall & Heidi Harrison and the team the charity also presented the couple with a surprise gift for their kind donation.Thanks to you both for help making a difference and we hope to see you next year and enjoy this fantastic event with fantastic people of the trucking fraternity who also dig deep to support the charity-THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT.
